Soccer supporters win big with Absa PSL

For the build-up to match day, the Absa Premier Soccer League (PSL) Woza Nazo (Bring It On) for the Polokwane Derby gave away free tickets to lucky fans at the Seshego Circle Centre on Wednesday, 14 August.

POLOKWANE – Various booths hosted fun soccer-related activities and the residents were eager to participate. Capricorn FM’s Kulani Ms Kuli Hobyane was the host of the day.

Another booth rewarded Absa clients, both existing and new account holders, free tickets. Those who purchased any Absa products also received free tickets for the weekend’s derby at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex.

Residents were very excited when they were given the opportunity to take photos with the soccer legends alongside the Absa Premiership Trophy. All the attendees were rewarded with unique and unforgettable experiences through the Absa Premiership Woza Nazo matches such as the unique Kick for a Million competition, which is a competition that rewarded the fans who would attend the Polokwane Derby on Saturday an opportunity to participate in a half-time penalty kick competition to stand a chance to win R1 million at the end of the season.

With the theme being Bring Your Voice, the Absa PSL season Polokwane Derby kick starts the first of many Woza Nazo fixtures that will see Absa bringing even more passion and excitement to the biggest league on the continent.

The Absa Premiership will see Polokwane City and Baroka FC launch the second edition of Woza Nazo on the field of play when these rivals meet on the pitch. This season, Absa encourages fans to celebrate the wins, the spectacular goals and energy in the various stadiums across the country through Bring Your Voice which will be an opportunity for fans to express their Africanacity. The Woza Nazo Bring Your Voice initiative is aimed at enhancing the culture of singing that already exists in the Absa PSL.
