Magoeba MTB race a first for Limpopo

Entries are still open for the 40km and 70km

POLOKWANE – If you feel like a challenge and have a mountain bike then The Magoeba is something you need to add to your bucket list.

The Magoeba, Mountain Bike Stage Race will be the first ever stage race to take place in the majestic Magoebaskloof mountains, and the premier race in the Limpopo Province.

This race is heading to Limpopo on 24, 25 and 26 August this year and people interested in taking part must enter NOW to make sure they do not miss out. The event is planned by Magoebaskloof Adventures and Haenertsburg Rotary and promises to bring lots of fun to the Mountain biking community around Limpopo.

Magoeba three-day MTB race launched

Magoebaskloof and its village, Haenertsburg is a popular place for people to go for a weekend away and the breath-taking scenery makes the race something for the eye besides from being challenging.

The race format will be 3 stages over 3 days, from one central venue in a clover leaf layout.

Each day will bring its share of challenging climbs and awesome descents. Food and tented accommodation will be provided in the race village.

• The Magoeba Race: riders will take on a 70km daily route that includes 1500m of elevation gain per day.

• The Magoeba Trail is a 40km daily route that includes a 800m of elevation gain per day
