Lim Premier congratulates Black Leopards on promotion to PSL
The Premier has commended Lidoda duvha for their consistency and professional attitude throughout the promotional playoffs campaign.
POLOKWANE – Premier of Limpopo, Chupu Mathabatha has congratulated Black Leopards FC on their deserved promotion to the Absa Premier Soccer League (PSL).
The Premier holds that having three teams in the premier league will go a long way in supporting the growth of the local economy, particularly the hospitality industry and small businesses that are mostly operated by women and young people.
“We wish Black Leopards a long and fruitful stay in the PSL,” Mathabatha said.
Black Leopards will return to the Absa Premiership for the first time since being relegated in 2013.
Black Leopards Chairperson, David Thidiela, mentioned in Soccer Laduma that the team couldn’t have done it without the support from the Premier, MEC of Sports Arts and Culture Onnica Moloi, Polokwane Municipality, Limpopo Tourism Agency and all beautiful people of Limpopo.
