Olivia’s Dancers excel during orange examinations

Dancers from Olivia Dancing Academy recently did extremely well when they showed off their dance moves during a dancing competition.

POLOKWANE – The dancers from different ages took part in the Acrobatic Federation of South Africa’s Orange examination that tested their skills on different levels.

The dancers were awarded one of three ratings namely honours, honours with distinction and highly commended.

Haylie Anders, Elandri Venter, Lukhe Minnaar in front, Jané de Beer, Zanica Linde and Liuwa van der Merwe in the middle and Annekien Janse van Rensburg at the back from Olivia Dance Academy recently received their gradings.

• The dancers receiving honours:

Evelyn Shrines.
Lexie Botha.
Deoné Gouws.
Lu-vé Venter.
Natalie Gouws.
Kaylee Brits.
Liuwa van der Merwe.

• The dancers receiving honours with distinction are:

Rhuné Stander.
Lineke Minnaar.
Zuané Pretorius.
Candice Kakamas.
Haylie Anders.
Elandri Venter.
Lukhe Minnaar.
Jané de Beer.
Zanica Linde.
Annelien Janse van Rensburg.

• Yellow examination:
Liza Calabria.
Alexis Strydom (yellow examination – honours with distinction)

• Ramathetje Mphahlele, Leoné Labuschagne, Katelyn Swan and Danika Calitz received their tan examination and was graded honours with distinction.

• Oreratile Molepo received her silver examination and was graded honours with distinction.

• Anandré Minnaar received her gold examination and was rewarded honours with distinction.

• Juané Shrines received a highly commended grading.
