Almost time for Ebenezer Mile

It's nearly that time of the year when enthusiastic swimmers can show what they are made of by taking part in the annual Ebenezer Mile.

LIMPOPO – The Haenertsburg Rotary Club chartered on 16 February 2001 under the Pietersburg 100 Club sponsorship will also be taking up the challenge of organising and hosting the second biggest open swim in South Africa.
Veteran swimmers will be given the opportunity to rate the efficiency of the host organisation, the friendliness of the locals and its surroundings. All the swimmers who obtain a first place right up to fifth place will receive gold medals, sixth to 10th place a silver medal and all the other participants, a bronze medal, upon completing the mile.
The Ebenezer Mile is set to take place at the Ebenezer dam with the start and finishing point at the Old Smokey Lepelle Water recreation resort. Old Smokey is located approximately half a kilometre past the MYC entrance. There will be clear signposts placed at various locations. All proceeds will go to charity.
Online entries are now open for Saturday, 17 March. Book online at https://ebenezermile2018.myactive.co.za/CaptureDetails/Registration.aspx or https://www.rotaryhaenertsbutg.co.za/ebenezer-mile-swim/.
