POLOKWANE – The match was played in a betterball stableford format with the final round on Tuesday, 13 December at the Polokwane Golf Club.
Steve Rudd and Johan Steynberg, however, had the last say in the final round of this series with their 47-point victory.
In second place with 45 points on a count-in were Papu Lukhanyiso and Thabo Shingange. Willie and Louis Opperman claimed the third place laurels with 45 points on a count-out.
Riaan Nel took the prize in this final round for the player with the longest drive while Wynand Pretorius won the prize for the playing nearest to the pin at the 11th hole.
A number of players recorded two clubs in this match; Jeandré Britz, Adriaan Halgreen, Willie Opperman, Piet Bronkhorst, Wynand Pretorius, Chris Binneman, Anthony Olley, Morné Myburgh, Ruan Groenewaldt, Johan Steynberg, Riaan Piek and Jean Sadie.
