POLOKWANE – Although United lost cohesion in the middle of the park at some point, their dribbling wizard, Dean Furman, remained a thorn in the flesh of the Baroka defenders.

Baroka took the lead in the 24th minute.

Lucky Nguzana beat the offside trap and flanked the keeper in the wrong direction.

The visiting side however, did not give in without a fight.

Supersport United continued to attack in a collective manner, with their midfielders dishing out a few well executed passes to the goal poachers time after time.

United player, Grant Kekana was a marvel to watch as he continued to terrorise Baroka strikers.

Bradley Grobler of United had the opportunity to equalise the score when his shot hit the crossbar and bounced outside the pitch.

Baroka enjoyed their 1-0 lead until the referee blew the half-time whistle.

Baroka brought in Talent Chawaphiwa as a substitue player for Mpho Kgaswane.

United equalised the score with a brilliant goal from the tall man, Azubuike Egwuekwe.

Their celebration was, however, cut short when Letladi Madubanya headed home after he finished a good pass from Richard Matloga.

Mduduzi Mdantsane was on target to put his side ahead.

He beat the keeper with a volley and scored his team a third goal late in the match.
