JKA club awards karatekas

To honour and acknowledge their karatekas for their hard work, the JKA Pietersburg Karate Club held their annual awards ceremony on Wednesday, 22 November.

Karatekas with the best performance during grading are Minette Butterworth, John Coetzee, Stephan van Rensburg and Anica Badenhorst.

POLOKWANE – The ceremony was held at General Piet Joubert.

• Boy karateka of the year – Henri Purcocks.

• Junior belt boy karateka of the year – Coenrad Scheepers.

• Senior female karateka of the year – Marisa Claassens.

• Senior belt karateka of the year 2017 – Claude Reynolds.

• Senior black belt of the year 2017 – Chris van Rensburg.
