Jama dancers to represent Limpopo at Sun City

JAMA School of Dance, Music and Arts, Dancers will be taking part in the Sun City Superbowl World Stage Dance Championships

POLOKWANE – JAMA School of Dance, Music and Arts’ dancers will represent Limpopo from 14 -16 December, at the Sun City Superbowl World Stage Dance Championships.

The Dancers will go along with their partners to compete in both the couple and solo categories.

Adelaite Hlungwani, Thabo Nojaja, Mokgaetsi Sethole, Oreratile Mampane, Johanna Eloff and Izak van der Walt are excited to represent their province.

“I have mixed feelings about the dance championships. I’m excited and anxious at the same time, because I’ll be representing not only my city, but my province too. I don’t want to disappoint the whole province. I’m so excited that we are going to showcase our talent and do what we enjoy best,” Adelaite said.

Founder of JAMA Dance, Music and Arts, Jack Mawasha, told Review that he is very proud of his Dancers.

“I have chosen all of them to represent the school and Limpopo as a whole because I know that they will not disappoint us at all. I have observed all of them dance and they have been dancing really well, they have improved very much,” Mawasha said.

Izak says he is ready to compete, despite his age. “Johanna and I have been dancing together for quite some time now and I know very well that we will not disappoint our province. We have been rehearsing and practicing for a while now, and we’re doing that till we approach the date,” Izak said.
