Karatekas excel at nationals
After showing off their skills at the recent WKF Goju Ryu Karate-Do Kuyu-Kai South Africa, karatekas from the city brought home 18 medals.
POLOKWANE – The karatekas are all from Eksteen Bushido Freestyle Karate do Institute and took part in the SA Invitational All Styles championship in Witbank.
Karatekas who participated are:
• Velly Mongoai (first kata and kumite).
• Bricks Motshike (third kata and kumite).
• Goitsi Monare (third kata).
• Fayca Rahman (first kata and third kumite).
• Katlego Mongoai.
• Tshwanelo Rankopole (second kata and first kumite).
• Ayo Mokwena (second kata and first kumite).
• Lesego Rammutla (first kata and third kumite).
• Karabo Motshekga (third kata and kumite).
• Mahlogonolo Kgomo (second kata).
• Tetelo Mokgala (second kata and third kumite).
