Ringball shoots, score

Clubs from Polokwane, Tzaneen and Lephalale took to the ringball courts on Saturday afternoon during the last rounds of the Limpopo Ringball League for the year.

POLOKWANE – All is quiet on the ringball courts, with a soft bump the ball touches the ring and Parke Ringbal Club scores a goal.

The silence is interupted by the cheering spectators, shouting congratulations to the team and the goal shooter.

The winners will compete in the South African Club Championships on 3 June in Pretoria.

Clubs from Polokwane, Tzaneen and Lephalale took to the ringball courts to not only book their place, but to make their clubs proud.

Junior and senior teams from Parke Ringbal Club (Polokwane), Jakaranda Ringbal Club (Polokwane), Mogol Ringball Club (Lephalale) and Survivors Ringball Club (Tzaneen) played their hearts out to score points for their teams.

Results:

• Jakaranda juniors win against Parke juniors blue: 8-4.

• Jakaranda juniors win against Parke juniors black: 14-0.

• Jakaranda juniors win against Parke juniors white: 34-6.

• Jakaranda women A win against Parke women A1: 50-42.

• Jakaranda women A win against Parke women A2: 80-42.

• Parke men A win against Jakaranda men A: 62-42.

• Mogol men A win against Parke men A: 46-28.

• Mogol men A win against Tzaneen men A: 80-18.

Survivors Club from Tzaneen and Mogol Club from Lephalale will compete in the upcoming SA Club Championships.
