Liana Fourie will be taking part in the Arnold Classics for the second consecutive year.

Liana and Danie Fourie will be among the strongest competitors to show what they have accomplished since the same event a year ago.

Local arm wrestling club, Lynx Arm Wrestling, will compete at the Arnold Classics where South African Arm Wrestling Federation (SAAWF) President, Danie Fourie, won a gold medal last year.

He will return to defend his title and his wife Liana, will see how she fares in the strict arm curl and the crossfit, for which she hopes to qualify. The Fouries will participate on 5 May.

Fourie told Review that it is expected that the classics will be a lot bigger than previously as more people will have entered than previously.

“We are hopeful that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be there in person to encourage and assist the contestants,” Fourie said.
