Eagles Cricket Club celebrates a decade on the pitch
Supporters of the gentlemen's game are urged to remember the 10th anniversary of the Eagles Cricket Club this coming Saturday, 11 March.
POLOKWANE – The special event will be held at the Polokwane Cricket Club.
The teams will have a Capping session at Nguni Grill on Friday 10 March 19:00 and there will also be a draw to determine which team will be playing which on Saturday 11 March.
The first games will start at 09:00 on Saturday with the winners then playing against each other in the afternoon at 13:00.
The teams for the day are as follows:
Red Team: Theo Jansen van Rensburg, Jon-Paulo Vieta Lopes, Christo van Zyl, Gerhard van Zyl, Glen Groenewald, Petri de Kock, Eddie Human, Micheal Groenewald., Tyler Bruce Botha, Adolf Swanepoel, Sias Willemse, Jaco Potgieter, Vivan Human.
Blue Team: Franco Rabe, Jared Rabe, Luan Maasberg, Deon du Toit, Jaco Smith, Erik Holtzhauzen, Robert Broodryk, Clayton Smith, Hardus Venter, Gerhard Saaiman, Hernus Pieterse.
Yellow team: Renier Maritz, Jacques Pretorius, Barend Jacobsz, Johan Retters, Henk Holtzhauzen, Dewald Weterman, Alex Thomson, Johan Geldenhuys, Ben Benzien, Anthony Jones, Johan Christoffel Barkhuizen, Pieter Haasbroek, André de Beer.
