Golf club wishes sponsors, golfers a festive holiday

With many of the usual tournament sponsors preparing to close for the holidays, golfers need not fret as the Polokwane Golf Club will remain open with several club challenges for them to take part in.

Charlie Smith (Polokwane Golf Club, Manager) thanks all their sponsors and golfers for contributing to an eventful year.

POLOKWANE – Polokwane Golf Club Manager, Charlie Smith, said: “We had a wonderful year and I thank all the sponsors who came on board and gave golfers a chance to reveal their skills on the fairway in numerous tournaments. We as a club wish all our sponsors and golfers a wonderful festive season and prosperous new year. Be safe on your travels and come back in one piece next year. We eagerly look forward to 2017 and are hopeful that more sponsors will come on board to host golf tournaments at the club”.

Smith added that residents are welcome to come and indulge in their special golf club pub lunch special every Friday where they can sink their teeth into a juicy T-bone steak and sides for R50 before they sink a couple of holes.

The Polokwane Golf Club remains open for the public this festive season and residents can enjoy their T-bone special pub lunch for R50 every Friday.
