Limpopo Pool still looking for benefactors

The Limpopo Blackball Federation (LBF) are currently looking for benefactors to help the Limpopo Blackball Pool team participate at the nationals early next year.

POLOKWANE – Around 36 players and managers will proudly represent the province at the 2016/17 National Blackball Championships in Gauteng from 18 January to 1 February.

LBF Chairperson, Naas Vorster, said: “Each player requires about R5 000 to cover all expenses with regard to travel costs, accommodation, shirts and meals and any consideration towards sponsorship would be highly appreciated”.

Naas added every player is trying to get sponsorship on their own, making it a team effort as well to make sure they get to Gauteng safely. “We’re mainly looking for sponsorship for travelling, accomodation and food at this point,” he explained.

He said they are looking for companies to sponsor the team’s shirts on which they will proudly wear their logo. “Provincial pool players and managers recognise those who have helped make our mission possible, tending to contribute to wear our shirts as mementos on many occasions after the event,” he continued.

For more information, prospective sponsors are urged to e-mail Vorster at limpopoblackballpool@gmail.com or naas@f2f4u.co.za.
