[WATCH] The marathons are open to members and non-members of the gym.

POLOKWANE – Locals enjoyed loads of fun filled workouts with the Body Life team this week.

The Body Life Fitness Club in McDonald Street hosted and Aerobics Marathon on Wednesday, 2 November.

During the marathon, trainers took turns teaching half an hour classes free of charge.

“It is a widely accepted belief that aerobic exercises improve the symptoms of depression and besides strengthening your heart and lungs, aerobic exercises also helps to lower your cholesterol, reduce the risk of specific types of diabetes, improve your immune function and lower your blood pressure. So really, there’s no excuse for missing the next class,” says trainer Heinrich Wolhüter.

The marathons are open to members and non-members of the gym.
