A weekend of high-octane sports action

Local sports fans are spoiled for choice this weekend as several adrenaline-pumping activities are taking place around the city.

POLOKWANE – Here’s a look at what you can look forward to:

  • The Nguni Race, taking place at Nguni Grill on the corner of De Wet and Morris Street.

Festivities kick-off at 07:30 and will feature a 5km, 10km and 21,1km race. Contact Kobie at 082 561 5429 for more information.

  • The Gummy Bear Warrior Challenge taking place at the Limpopo 4×4 Club.

  • Motocross action at the Capricorn racing club on Silicon road.

Saturday is the sixth and last round of the Limpopo Series Motocross event at Capricorn Motocross Racing Club. The event starts at 09:00 and will last all day. Tickets are R10 for adults and entry is free for children under 12.

  • The Fightstars Fighting Championships taking place at the St Marco Hall.
