Bafana Bafana last played in Polokwane in October 2014 when they bumped heads with Congo-Brazzaville during the Africa Cup of Nations (CAF) qualifier. The game between the two teams ended with 0-0 draw.
Per the statement released by the South African Football Association (SAFA), Bafana Bafana head coach, Ephraim Shakes Mashaba is expected to announce the squad to face Senegal later this week.
South Africa played to a 1-1 all draw against Burkina Faso in the opening round of the qualifiers held in Ouagadougou earlier this month (Saturday, 8 October).
After the Senegal match, the qualifiers will take a break until September 2017 when Bafana Bafana travel to Cape Verde.
