Monthly golf clinic set to mould young players into brow-raising golfers
The weather did little to deter eager young golfers on Saturday as a number of them showed up at the Polokwane Golf Club where South African Golf Development Board (SAGDB) Limpopo Golf Coach, Shaun Mouton, hosted a Golf Development Clinic.
LIMPOPO – Players from Northern Academy, PEMPS, Mitchell House and Eagle’s Nest either showed off their golf skills or got to learn the basics of golf from experienced coaches and players. The clinic also served as a platform for players to develop their game and to drum up interest in the sport among the youth.
The SAGDB Limpopo Chapter used the clinic as an opportunity to select an elite Polokwane and Limpopo team which will train on a regular basis each month.
The golf clinic was a SAGDB Limpopo initiative and they plan to host a clinic each month.
