Parkrun times to change

The Polokwane Parkrun will be changing its starting time as from Saturday, 1st October.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Parkrun will change the time from 08:00 to 07:00, as requested by the runners on Saturday, 24 September.

The times were changed because the warmer summer temperatures make running very uncomfortable and difficult.

“It will not be a permanent change, but only for the next six months, last year we did not change the times and people and dogs suffered in the heat. We have heard and heeded the request from runners and we have permission from parkrunSA to change the times” said Polokwane Parkrun manager Felicity Roberts.

Polokwane Parkrun takes place every Saturday, at the park across from High Technical School, Tom Naudé so make sure not to miss out, as there is no charge to run.
