Cyclists could chose from a 60 km marathon, 42 km half marathon and 16 km fun ride. There was also be a kiddies race for the toddlers.
POLOKWANE – A total of 357 cyclists showed up to participate in the annual E.H. Hassim Lentetrap which was held at the Polokwane Game on Saturday. This race presented by Polokwane Pedallers Cycling Club (PPCC) was aimed at raising funds for Alex van Dyk.
All the proceedings of the event will be donated to Alex van Dyk. Alex is a sport fanatic but cannot compete anymore as he was involved in a motorbike accident. The money will help him pay his medical bills and get a new set of prosthetic legs for him to compete in sport again.
