Not sure what to do this weekend? Here are a couple of sport events taking place in the city
POLOKWANE – For the runners, there is the annual Savannah Mall 3-in-1 Race on Saturday at 07:30. The race will be made up of a 21,1km, 10km and 5km races.
For the tennis fanatics, the Buco Tennis Tournament will be held at the Polokwane Tennis Club from 08:00, and will continue until Sunday.
There will also be a Fly Day at the Area 51 Model Airplanes Club, where local model pilots can show of their talents with some of the best model airplanes Limpopo has to offer.
The Polokwane Jukskei Club will host a Limpopo Open Championship throughout Saturday.
The Limpopo 4×4 Club on the Silicon Road will host a 4×4 Funday Challenge on Saturday. Entry costs R20 for adults, R10 for children between the ages of 12 and 18, while children under 12 enter for free.
If you are into social golfing, make your way to the Polokwane Golf Club for the MGM Volvo Golf Day on Saturday.
Noordelikes Rugby Club’s first and second team will keep the locals entertained as they clash against Mokopane Rugby Club at the Noordelikes Rugby Fields on 15:00.
