Jo’burg Kung Fu master visits city
The local Yishi Wing Chun Kung Fu Club members were in for some intense training with Johannesburg instructor, Shawn Lombaard, recently.
POLOKWANE – Shawn visited the Yishi Wing Chun Kung Fu Club in the city where he instructed an intense training seminar in the art of kung fu to more than 20 students.
“The seminar took place over a few days and it was a great success. Shawn really gave valuable tips and I know the students learned a great deal from him,” said Jannie Calitz, owner of the club.
The next seminar will take place in Cape Town in December, where a Grand Master from Turkey will be giving training lessons.
Jannie trains his students Monday and Wednesday nights at the Bet Shalom church in Bendor and he invites anyone who would like to join his club to contact him on 061 099 2580.
