Monthly Medal offers sizzling action

Thabo Shingange takes first place in the A-Division of the Mikes Chicken Monthly Medal.

POLOKWANE – The tournament took place at the Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday, 4 June.

The winners of the day are:

• A – Division (0-9 handicap): Thabo Shingange in first place with a total of 71 nett on a count in and Jackie Papola in second place with a total of 71 nett on a count out.

• B – Division (10-18 handicap): Les Cook in first place with a total of 64 nett and Joe Legora in second place with a total of 68 nett.

• C – Division (19 and up handicap): Carel de Jager in first place with a total of 72 nett and Weyden Peceur in second place with a total of 73 nett.

• A – Division Ladies (0-18 handicap): Luanie van Rooyen in first place with a total of 73 nett.

• B – Division Ladies (19-36 handicap): Lynette Smith in first place with a total of 78 nett.

The jackpot was drawn at a total of 590 units with no winner yet at a payable amount of 470 units.

Lynette Smith takes first place in the Ladies B-Division of the Mike’s Kitchen Monthly Medal.

Weyden Peceur secures a second place in the C-Division of the Mike’s Kitchen Monthly Medal.
