Almost time for the Kremetart Cycle Race

It is almost time for the 2016 installment of the Kremetart Cycle Race

POLOKWANE – The Kremetart Cycle Race is scheduled to take place at Louis Trichardt High School on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 June and as one of Limpopo’s biggest cycling races, people can look forward to another successful event.

The 175 km stage race, the 70 km road race, the KFC 10 km fun ride and the KFC kiddies race will take place on Saturday, 4 June and the other races, including the Total Mountain Bike Cross Country race will take place on Sunday 5 June.

The entry fee for the 175 km stage race is R550, R200 for the 70 km road race, R50 for the Kiddies and fun ride and R200 for the Total Mountain Bike Cross Country race.

Also remember you will be required to produce your valid Cycling South Africa (CSA) license or proof of provincial affiliation at registration or you will be required to purchase an event license.

The first race kicks off at 06:40 for the 175 km race, 08:30 for the 70 km race, 09:00 for the 10 km fun ride and 11:00 for the kiddies race.

Starting times on Sunday will be 08:00 for nippers, 08:45 for sprogs and sub juniors, 10:00 for Youth men and woman (16 and Under), Master men and woman (50+), Grand master men and woman (60 +), and 11:00 for Junior men and women (18 and under), under 23 men (19-23), Elite men (23 to 29) and Elite woman (19-29) sub veteran men and women (30-39) and Veteran men and woman (40-49).

Online registrations can be done at www.cycleevents.co.za, and entries close on Sunday, 22 May.
