SAPOA Golf Day a swinging success

A total of 19 teams, with 76 players competed at the Polokwane Golf Club in the four ball alliance, two scores to count format tournament. The winners are as follows:

POLOKWANE – Golfers were able to enjoy a day of social golfing with family and friends at the SAPOA golf day on Thursday 21 April.

Six holes on the day were sponsored: Max Prof Solutions sponsored hole three, Da-Ga Boys sponsored hole 11, FNB sponsored hole 10, Mall of the North sponsored hole nine, AccTech Limpopo sponsored hole one and Advice Worx sponsored hole 18.

Nedbank sponsored the first place prizes and the branded water bottles were sponsored by LimAqua.

The winners are as follows:

• Mpho Makado, Phil Mashakane, Liz Southern and Kevin Paul in first place with a total of 108 points.

‹ Dawie Groenewald, Tossie van der Merwe, Hendrik van der Merwe and Janneman Groenewald took second place with a total of 93 points and

• Raoul van Zyl, Riaan Piek, Brian O’Reilly and Raymond Pratt took third place with a total of 91 points.

The longest drive of the day was on hole two by Morné Myburgh and the lucky prize winner was Gerald Spies.
