Polokwane Parkrun celebrates 1st anniversary
Saturday, 16 April will be marked as Polokwane Parkrun's first anniversary, and Parkrun has something special lined up for the community
POLOKWANE – The Parkrun is a timed event that takes place every Saturday at 08:00 opposite Tom Naudé Technical High School.
To mark the anniversary, the top runners who dedicated themselves to run nearly every Saturday throughout the year will be announced.
Male points table:
1. Micheal Ward with 34 runs and a total of 3 154 points.
2. Gustav Grobler with 33 runs and a total of 3 129 points.
3. Danie La Grange with 33 runs and a total of 2 804 points.
4. Dewald Myburgh with 30 runs and a total of 3 719 points.
5. Johan van Graan with 39 runs and a total of 2 604 points.
Women’s points table:
1. Jeannie Owens with 38 runs and a total of 3 590 points.
2. Alison Blair with 31 runs and a total of 2 567 points.
3. Joey Steyn with 35 runs and a total of 2 052 points.
4. Nicky Foster with 36 runs and a total of 2 011 points.
5. Precious Mathabela with 24 runs and a total of 200 points.
