De Bruyn division winner of SA handgun championship
On Saturday the South African Handgun Championship of the South African Practical Shooting Association (Sapsa) was held in this city.
POLOKWANE – On Saturday the South African Handgun Championship of the South African Practical Shooting Association (Sapsa) was held in this city.
Several local shots formed part of the top national 288 contestants who took part in this event.
It was Dion de Bruyn who emerged supreme over all the other Limpopo shots by winning the Classic Division.
Gerrit Dokter, chairperson of Sapsa in Polokwane, says the Limpopo team as well as the other shots from this city are tremendously proud of Du Bruyn’s achievement, especially amid the fierce competition the local shots had to endure.

• Women’s Open – Ets van den Berg.
• Women’s Production – Carmen Sales.
• Standard Junior – Thomas Afflleck.
• Open Senior – Hubert Montgomery.
• Standard Senior – Kevin Rolls.
• Open Super Senior – Carlo Belletti.
• Standard Super Senior – Hein Kruger.
• Production Super Senior – Rob Hopper.
