POLOKWANE – Wrestlers from Ion Baciu bagged 15 medals at the Regional Championship for the u/7 to u/11 age groups recently.
The federations that participated in the championships included Northern Gauteng, Central Gauteng and Limpopo.
The three federations are grouped together in the same region and is the strongest and largest of the four regions in which the National Federation is divided.
The wrestlers from the three federations competed for a place in the regional team which will participate in the National Regional League Championship in Cape Town in October.

TJ Burger and Paul Nel participated in highly competitive divisions and despite their best efforts unfortunately did not receive any medals.
