SuperSport United v Orlando Pirates suspended due to “load shedding”

The PSL game between SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates will resume on Wednesday at 12h00 after the match was abandoned due to what spectators assumed was load shedding at the the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

POLOKWANE – The PSL game between SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates will resume on Wednesday at 12:00 after the match was abandoned due to what spectators assumed was load shedding at the the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The lights went out in the 62nd minute, with SuperSport leading the game 1-0 said a report on SoccerLaduma.
However, the  power failure was not due to load shedding, but a technical issue, with the flood lights going out.
 Because this is a technical error, the match will resume at 12:00 today with 28 minutes to be played of the second half (from the 63rd minute).
