Sport in Limpopo showcased its wider social responsibility when the Polokwane Athletics Club recently managed a Save The Rhino Training Run.
POLOKWANE – Sport in Limpopo showcased its wider social responsibility when the Polokwane Athletics Club recently managed a Save The Rhino Training Run.
The entry fees for the training run were collected as a contribution for the good cause to save the rhinos. The club was able to raise up to R7 500 and Corrie Calitz and Johan van Vuuren handed over a cheque to the Krugerpark Marathon Club for the anti rhino poaching cause.
The Polokwane Athletics Club was also able to send a large group to run in the the popular Skukuza half marathon.
