Big turnout at Spec-savers golf challenge

POLOKWANE – Sixty-five golfers competed in the Spec-savers golf challenge at the Polokwane golf club on Saturday.

The challenge was played in an individual stableford format.

The winners of the day were, Anthony Olley in first place with a total of 40 points, Sipho Talane in second place with a total of 39 points and Len Olley in third place with a total of 38 points. The prize for nearest to the pin at hole eight was presented to Riaan Nel and Pieter Meiring received the prize for nearest to the pin at hole 16.

The jackpot draw was done by Carel de Jager with no winner. The jackpot stands at R2 940 of which R2 350 is payable.
