LIMPOPO- A BRACE from Solly “Slender” Moagi of Ext 71 Love and Peacemakers FC was enough for the team to fulfil their dream of beating Drolly Boys FC.

Peacemakers beat Drolly 2-1 during their match which was played at the Greenside sports ground on Sunday.

The first goal from Moagi in the 18th minute following a square pass from Dhino Marakalala saw Peacemakers lead the match as they had dominated. After half-time, Drolly came back with full force and equalised through Peacemakers’ mistakes.

Edward Whassue of Drolly gave the opponents a hard time after equalising in the 52nd minute with a super goal from Sello Letsoalo’s pass. Moagi later punished Drolly with a good strike, which gave the home side a win.

Peacemakers coach, Samuel Marakalala, said the game went according to their plan, though many chances were not used accordingly.

“We were on top of things, we could have scored more goals as we dominated the match. The match was ours from the first minute. We cannot complain much because we finally managed to win, but as a team, we must make sure chances such as these ones are used,” Marakalala said.

Peacemakers captain, Marakalala congratulated the team for the win.

“This was a tough match, but with our game spirit we managed to win and we look forward to win more,” said Marakalala.

Drolly coach, Tichaona Moyo said: “the players played a very good game though it was tough. We created many silly mistakes and we got punished. I cannot complain much because our plans went accordingly. With the loss, we learned from our mistakes”.
