Lim bowlers show they are masters of the game
Bowlers from across Limpopo competed in the Limpopo masters bowls finals at the Polokwane Bowls Club on Saturday.
POLOKWANE – Bowlers from across Limpopo competed in the Limpopo masters bowls finals at the Polokwane Bowls Club on Saturday.
The finals were played by 14 men and 12 women from various bowling clubs in the province and the two groups were categorised into four sections.
The bowlers had to compete at their respective clubs to earn an opportunity to compete in the masters finals.
Christo van der Merwe, Polokwane Bowls Club president, said all the bowlers played exceptionally well and said the tournament was well attended.
On Saturday, bowlers will compete in the Limpopo pairs men’s and women’s finals.
Four men’s and four women’s teams will compete in the open category and four men’s and four women’s teams will battle it out in the senior class. All the teams consist of two players each.
The results of the Limpopo Masters Bowls finals were unavailable by the time of going to print.
