POLOKWANE – All is set for the 2015 edition of Polokwane Annual Mayoral Road Race to be held Saturday 16 May, 07:00 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in collaboration with Polokwane Athletic Club.
The race has in past attracted athletes from other parts of South Africa and neighbouring countries.
Entry fees are as follows:
5km fun run at R20,10km and 21.1 km distances at R40 and R60 respectively.
Temporary licences for the 10km and 21.1 km distances are available at R30,with all age groups welcome to participate in the 5km fun run while only 15+ are eligible to participate in the 10km and 21.1 km distances.
Athletes are encouraged to pre-register for the race as follows:
Monday to Friday, 08h00-16h00 at the Sport and Recreation Offices (end of Burger Street next to Virgin Active).
They can also register on Friday, 15 May, 16h00-20h00 and on the day of the race at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium from 05h00-06h45.
