Black Leopards ready for Jomo Cosmos
Black Leopards coach Zeca Marques said his players are ready for any challenge and will rise to the occasion when they take on Jomo Cosmos in the first match of PSL promotional play off at the Thohoyandou stadium in Limpopo on Saturday.
LIMPOPO – Black Leopards coach Zeca Marques said his players are ready for any challenge and will rise to the occasion when they take on Jomo Cosmos in the first match of PSL promotional play off at the Thohoyandou stadium in Limpopo on Saturday.
Leopards qualified for the promotional play off after finishing third in the National First Division with 51 points.
Marques believes his charges will handle the high pressure that comes with this type of the competition.
The Limpopo based team have a mammoth task as they face a strong Cosmos side that has had a scintillating season and only missed out on automatic promotion to Golden Arrows, but Marques believes his team will over come that challenge.
‘Lidoda Duvha’ as the team is affectionately known managed to salvage 1-0 victory against the Jomo Sono’s men when the teams met in their last league encounter and Limpopo side will want to continue with their dominance over their opponents.
Leopards were relegated from Absa Premiership during the 2012/2013 season and will want a return to the lucrative league.
