Mike’s Chicken Golf Challenge
The Mike's Chicken Monthly Medal Golf Challenge was played at the Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday.
POLOKWANE – The Mike’s Chicken Monthly Medal Golf Challenge was played at the Polokwane Golf Club on Saturday.
A total of 74 players took part in the challenge. The weather was cloudy and light rain also fell on the day, which affected the players’ game. This did not get in their way too much, however, and the players were able to compete the challenge.
The golf day consisted of three divisions namely A, B and C division.
Results
• A division:
1. Jacques Pretorius with 74.
2. Menno Malherbe with 75.
• B division:
1. Raymond Mushaike with a score of 71 in a count-in.
2. Aart Jurriaanse with a score of 71 in a count-out.
• C division:
1. Charlie Smith with a score of 65.
2. Kobie Smit with a score of 68.
The Polokwane Golf Course will be closed until Friday as the u/19 South African Boys Stroke Play Championship is being hosted at the club.
