The Bolobedu-based team, which campaigns in the ABC Motsepe League formerly known as the Vodacom League, received their full kit at the Magoebaskloof Hotel last Wednesday.

Magoebaskloof Hotel’s general manager, Jacques Slabbert, said the donation was part of the hotel’s social responsibility initiative.

“The donation is our way to contribute towards the development of soccer in South Africa.

“We want to see the team progress and eventually develop players who will end up playing for Bafana Bafana,” said Slabbert.

He said he was looking forward to a long-standing relationship with the team.

Team owner, Robert Mokgola, thanked Magoebaskloof Hotel for their generosity.

“It’s quite rare for a soccer team in this division to get support from businesses as such as the Magoebaskloof Hotel. We are grateful,” said Mokgola.

He thanked hotel management for their specific contribution towards the development of his team.

The team management and players were very excited to receive the much-needed resources and thanked the hotel for what they said was “a contribution to motivate players to follow their dreams of playing soccer on professional level”.
