Try out for academy

MOLEMOLE Academy invites all young soccer players between the ages of 11 and 18 to attend their open trials at the Noordelikes Sports Grounds in Ladanna, Polokwane

MOLEMOLE Academy invites all young soccer players between the ages of 11 and 18 to attend their open trials at the Noordelikes Sports Grounds in Ladanna, Polokwane, on Saturday.

This academy is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the development of vulnerable children through sport and is affiliated with the South African Football Association (Safa).

Head coach, Dominic Ramokgopa, said the players who succeed in Saturday’s trials, will be accepted into the academy next year. He said the academy was also very serious about academic achievement and ensured that players received an all-round education while being prepared for the big leagues.

“We search for talent all over Limpopo. When we find talented young players, we want to help them develop into better players and give them the necessary opportunities to play at professional levels,” he said.

“It is not an overnight process. We are patient with our players and we seek patience from our players and parents.

We are not concerned with where our players will play in three months. We are concerned with where they will be when they are qualified,” said Ramokgopa.

He said the young players who would like to try out for the academy should bring along their full kit, an original birth certificate, identification and lunches.
