Zani’s seniors excel in PTA
Twelve senior rhythmic gymnasts from Zani's Gymnastics competed at the Limpopo-championships in Centurion, Pretoria recently.
POLOKWANE – Twelve senior rhythmic gymnasts from Zani’s Gymnastics competed at the Limpopo-championships in Centurion, Pretoria recently.
These gymnasts claimed 42 medals, of which 31 were gold, nine silver and two bronze.
Dezi de Jager (level 4), Zandri van der Gryp (level 4), Simone Blaauw (level 5), Ezri Hugo (level 5), Juane Vorster (level 6), Marizaan Quin (level 6) and Monique Oelofse (level 6) won their respective divisions.
Raegan Guy, Monene Kelly and Marinette Vorster were runners-up in their divisions.
Mariolé Schurink was fourth overall and won a bronze medal.
All of the girls mentioned above, qualified for the Limpopo gymnastics team and will compete in the National Gym Games from October 9 to 11 in Cape Town at the Cape Good Hope Centre.
