POLOKWANE – A total of 65 golfers participated in the individual stableford Review Golf Challenge that was played at the Polokwane Golf Club last Wednesday.
Nic Notley won the challenge with 38 points.
Vincent Olley took second place with 38 points on a count-in, while Riaan Koekemoer won third place with 38 points on a count-out.
Kobus Marnevick won the prize for nearest to the pin at the eighth hole, while Hendrik van der Merwe won the prize for nearest to the pin at the 16th hole.
The Review Golf Challenge jackpot stands at R600, but only R480 is payable.
There were no winners for Wednesday’s jackpot draw, which was made by one of the golfers, Sam Kalla.
• The Mike’s Chicken monthly medal contest will be played on Saturday.
