TSHIBULENI Castro Musinyali of Vhadinda Shuttle Services handed over a brand new soccer kit to Tswera Young Masters in Thohoyandou recently.

The hand-over ceremony was held at the Tswera sports grounds, where Tswera Young Masters played against Ngwenani FC, beating them 4-2.

“When the team’s management first contacted me about a much needed soccer kit, I was hesistant. I did not think the team would last. However, they have proven me wrong and I bought the kit for them,” said Musinyali.

“There is a lot of talent in the team, and I wanted to contribute towards encouraging young people to pursue their dreams. The kit is also to honour their commitment and contribution to the development of soccer in the village.”

Musinyali said he would like to see the team being promoted and some of the players gaining more exposure in the soccer world.

Musinyali has also initiated and sponsored a juvenile rehabilitation programme, with the help of the Thohoyandou Correctional Centre, where together with DJ Khoro, they train young inmates in DJ-ing skills.

“I have donated a signboard to my former high school, Dengenya Secondary School and assisted an underprivileged student with college tuition. I am passionate about development and I am motivated to want to give where I can,” he said.

Thivhadini “Horse” Khorommbi, manager of Tswera Young Masters said they were honoured to receive the kit.

“The kit will serve as motivation for the players,” said Khorommbi.
