Bayano Moloto appointed as coach of Polokwane City Football Club
Polokwane City Football Club has appointed former Ria Stars defender, Bayano Moloto as an interim coach.
Moloto takes over from Macdonald Makhubedu who vacated the position last week, to join Sekhukhune United.
Club’s Chief Operations Officer, Tincy Tema said Moloto will be in charge on an interim basis while searching for a head coach.
“Moloto knows the culture of the club. He has been with us for many years. He was in charge of the development team and we believe he will do well in that position.”
Moloto said he is looking forward to the opportunity presented by management.
“I am excited. The appointment shows management trusts me and I am looking forward to a new challenge. The objective is to help the team to return to the Premier Soccer League.
“I must, however, confess that it is not going to be an easy task. We can do it, we have good support from our chairperson and management, the players are willing to complete the task.”
