Myriads of cyclists across the province will test their endurance and overall fitness at the annual Magoebaskloof Mountain Bike Lockdown Challenge set to commence from 1 until 30 September.
The challenge is expected to start at Barnyard just off the R71 at Stanford Lake College. For registration participants can visit www.entryninja.com.
Organiser of the challenge, Jen None said they are looking forward to an amazing challenge.
“People are desperate for a little bit of freedom and time in nature, it will be good to see cyclists on the road after the nationwide lockdown. The challenge will start in the first week of September and it is going to be an every day event. We took this decision because we don’t want large crowds. We want to maintain social distancing and adhere to the rules and the regulations of the lockdown.”
Winners of the challenge will be announced on the last day of the event.
