The Polokwane Bowls Club did its part to raise funds for Cansa Limpopo on Tuesday evening when it hosted a social game attended by 60 players.
Vice-president of the club, Mervyn Osborne explained that South Africa Bowls has challenged all bowls clubs in the country to host an event to raise funds for Cansa.
“We have a regular bowls evening every Tuesday and allocated tonight’s event to Cansa,” Osborne said.
Cansa Limpopo representative Christopher Combrink thanked Polokwane Bowls Club as well as a local barista for their contribution.
