Zane presents u.13 soccer tourney in Seshego

Former Winnerspark Football Club and Ria Stars midfielder, Lebo Ralehlaka, affectionately known as Zane in the football fraternity, will host a one-day developmental soccer tournament at Khaiso sports grounds in Seshego on 7 September.
The tourney will see u.13 developmental soccer teams from Mashashane Football Academy, NkowaNkowa Academy, Kings Football Club, Youngstars Football Club, Seshego Capricorn XL, Fastfeet Football Club, Rising Stars Academy and Luthuli Young Stars Development battling it out. The winner will be determined by round robin format.
Ralehlaka, a keen long distance runner and Comrades Marathon medallist, said the core objective of the tournament is to groom young soccer players and create a platform where they will develop in football. “There are no developmental leagues or tournaments in Seshego and it is that gap that we want to bridge. The tournament is about uplifting the community and taking the boy child off the street and bringing back the passion of football at grassroots level.
His future plans include creating a league for young, ambitious soccer players in Seshego so that they can they can grow in the sport and fulfil their dreams of being professional soccer players,” he said.
