Polokwane City Football Club’s head coach, Jozef Vukuši? reportedly vacated his position on Monday after spending one season with the club.
The 54-year-old Slovakian joined the club at the beginning of last season and helped City to finish in fifth position in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) for the first time in their history.
Vukuši? reportedly left the position due to family reasons. “I need to spend time with my daughter. She is 10 years old, goes to school in Slovakia and misses me too much. I had a wonderful experience with all challenges that we went through but our success paid it back,” Vukuši? reportedly said. He also referred to the PSL as the best African league and lauded the chairperson, technical and support teams and players of Polokwane City for their professionalism.
At the time of going to press spokesperson of the club, Tincy Tema could not be reached for comment.
