Former Black Leopards and Baroka Football Club coach, Sello Chokoe was recently appointed as head coach of ABC Motsepe League outfit, Ditlou Football Club.
Chokoe who has been out of a job since parting ways with the National First Division (NFD) side Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila Football Club in January this year, has reportedly been given a three-year mandate by the Sekhuhune based club to help the team gain promotion to the NFD.
According to sources close to the club the 35-year Law graduate will be working with former Kaizer Chiefs defender, Rodney Thobejane, who will now serve as an assistant.
Ditlou currently holds the 8th position in the ABC Motsepe League with 22 points after 17 matches.
Chairperson of the club, Mash Maila reportedly said: “We are delighted to have a coach like Chokoe at our club because we felt Rodney Thobejane needed help as he was working alone for a long time. With their combined experience we are confident that the two will work together and build a strong team that will compete for promotion to the NFD.”
