Black Leopards through to the last 16 of Nedbank Cup

Black Leopards Football Club caused a major upset in the Nedbank Cup competition when they beat the Soweto giants and cup favourites Orlando Pirates 5-4 to proceed to the last 16 round of the competition at a packed Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday evening.
Spokesperson for the club, Berry Ramunenyiwa commended the technical team and the players for the great result.
“We play every match to win and our game against Pirates was no exception. We are pleased to have eliminated them. They beat us in the 2011 final and we have not forgotten that. We want to go all the way and eventually win the title,” he said.
