Capricorn Endurance Club recently honoured riders who performed well during the year when they held their prize giving at a venue outside the city.
Club members who successfully participated at the National Western Mounted Games in Parys in October also received trophies. They are Ayden Venter, Sharné Venter, Ni-Marie Bierman, Dené Bierman, Tayler Smit and Keri-Leigh Wood.
Sharon Venter, Zander Olivier, DJ du Plooy, Amelia du Plooy, Tanika Wilkinson and Zandré Olivier were honoured for their participation throughout the year while Hardus Engelbrecht,
Lewellen Pollard and Leané Pollard were acknowledged for participation and outstanding progress during the year.
Endurance riders Kayla Hairbottle, Anell Bezuidenhout, Ingrid Kenmuir and Werner Kenmuir received Limpopo colours.
The Capricorn Champions in their respective categories are child rider Lente Schutte, young rider Ingrid Kenmuir, light weight Alta Kriegler, standard weight Sarie Pieters and heavy weight Audrey Marais
Lente was also named champion rider and rider and horse with most kilometres.
